We have officially launched a global project in partnership with JTB Okinawa to share the authentic value of Okinawa’s food and culture with the world.
To kick off the initiative, we held tasting events last month in New York at "Restaurant Yuu" and "HOUSE Brooklyn".
Representing our group, Executive Chef Takara from "CROSS 47" and Sommelier Kodama from "MOSS Okinawa" traveled to NY to showcase Ishigaki beef, Okinawan bluefin tuna, local spirits, and traditional handicrafts. The response from local chefs and buyers was overwhelmingly positive, leading to many valuable connections.
Our next stop is Paris, France.
At the upcoming event in mid-September, we will present the vibrant flavors of Okinawan ingredients alongside the beauty and warmth of handcrafted traditional arts to Paris's leading culinary professionals.
