This irregular event, held about twice a year, was initiated by Inoue, a native of Fukuoka Prefecture.

 

It welcomes anyone with a connection to Kyushu—whether it’s your birthplace, second home, roots, or business. Participants from across Kagoshima, Miyazaki, Kumamoto, Oita, Nagasaki, Saga, Fukuoka, and Okinawa gather to enjoy dishes and drinks inspired by local flavors, share dialects and hometown stories, and recharge energy for the days ahead.

 

Since its first edition in 2013, the event has grown steadily, sometimes collaborating with other regions. Past locations include Roppongi, Akasaka, and a special outdoor edition in Odaiba. In September 2024, the 17th edition marked its revival in Shibuya after nearly five years.
