Celebrating 5 Years of CWD!

On April 12, our restaurant CROSS WONDER DINING (CWD) in Iwaki City, Fukushima, will celebrate its 5th anniversary. We are incredibly grateful to our local community and all the guests who traveled from afar to support us over the past 5 years. The entire CWD staff thanks you from the bottom of our hearts!

Our story began in March 2021 as a collaborative step toward a new decade. It brought together Wonder Farm, which has driven local agricultural revitalization since the 2011 earthquake, and CROSS TOKYO, a restaurant group dedicated to meaningful culinary experiences. Meeting through a shared vision of revitalization through food, we launched this project together.

On April 12 of that year, our restaurant celebrated its grand opening. Highlighting dishes that showcase our pride-and-joy tomatoes, our menu artfully uses fresh vegetables and fruits harvested nearby, along with carefully selected meats and seafood. We also source exceptional ingredients directly from trusted producers across Japan. Under the theme of "authentic yet approachable Italian cuisine," we have loved sharing delicious moments through our buffets and à la carte dining.

Moving into our 6th year, we will continue to honor these incredible ingredients and cultivate a space where everyone can gather and smile. Thank you for being a part of our journey, and we look forward to welcoming you for many years to come.
