Chef Fukushima of CROSS WONDER DINING participated in a 1-day-only "Open-Air Restaurant," hosted as part of "Food Camp"—a tour highlighting the charms of Fukushima Prefecture organized by "Magonote Travel," a unique initiative managed by a Koriyama-based taxi company.
This edition featured a special collaboration with local Iwaki producer Mr. Shiraishi of "Farm Shiraishi" and "Ohori Somayaki," a historic pottery lineage with a 300-year heritage in Fukushima. In a beautifully open-air setting, a full course menu incorporating abundant local seasonal vegetables and freshly caught local seafood was masterfully served on exquisite Ohori Somayaki tableware.
