When to Send Oseibo? Regional Timing
Oseibo is an important cultural tradition in Japan to express gratitude for the year's support. The appropriate timing for sending these gifts varies slightly by region:
Kanto Region: It is customary to send gifts relatively early, generally between December 1st and December 20th. Sending gifts at the end of November is also perfectly acceptable.
Hokkaido, Tohoku, Hokuriku, Tokai, Kansai, Chugoku, and Kyushu Regions: The ideal period is from around December 10th to December 20th. Since this window is slightly shorter than in Kanto, early preparation ensures peace of mind.
Okinawa Region: The customary period is somewhat longer, generally lasting from the beginning of December until around December 25th.
The online shop provides complimentary Noshi (traditional Japanese gift wrapping paper) suitable for Oseibo. Every gift is prepared with the utmost care to ensure the sender's gratitude is beautifully conveyed.
