"CROSS JOURNEY" is a collaboration series featuring the inspiring people, products, and cultures that MOSS okinawa deeply admires. Designed to allow guests to experience the landscapes and aromas of the regions where exceptional ingredients are raised—as if "traveling" while remaining in the restaurant—the memorable 1st edition was successfully hosted over 2 nights on Saturday, May 27 and Sunday, May 28.

This inaugural event welcomed Mr. Kazuhiro Takata, a free-diver fisherman from Miyako Island, presenting a full course menu incorporating the fresh seafood hand-caught by Mr. Takada himself.

The event was celebrated with a fully booked house. Guests thoroughly enjoyed the multi-course seafood feast alongside Mr. Takata’s lively, engaging stories about marine life.

"CROSS JOURNEY" is a collaborative event series showcasing the exceptional people, products, and cultures embraced by MOSS okinawa. The series delivers masterfully crafted dishes that evoke the sights and scents of the ingredients' native lands, offering a culinary journey from the comfort of the dining room.

The landmark 1st edition centers on the theme of "Miyako Island Seafood," co-hosted with Mr. Kazuhiro Takata, a Miyako Island free-diver fisherman with whom MOSS okinawa has formed a special connection.

Renowned as a seafood paradise, Miyako Island boasts some of the most beautiful waters in the Okinawa region. Utilizing fresh marine delicacies captured through traditional free-diving and hand-spearing methods by Mr. Takata, the menu features a must-try lineup for fish lovers, consisting of 7 savory dishes and 2 post-dinner desserts.
